Why not? Why not give everyone a wedding frame as wedding favors. There are plenty of lovely wedding frames made especially for thank you gifts. I think photo frame favors are a great idea, I can also use the photo frame wedding favors as place card holders. They will look fantastic on all the reception tables.

Do you have any memories of playing with your Barbie Dolls and having Ken and Barbie getting married? I sure do! My friends would bring over their Barbie’s so we have enough bridesmaids and people in the church. Playing make believe was so much easier than the real deal. Now that I am planning my daughter’s wedding I wish I could call my friends and they would do their part like when we were children, but it doesn’t work that way. It sounds like it’s time for me to do a reality check. Okay off I go today to buy the wedding favors and a wedding garter. Then my daughter said she wants to wear a wedding garter belt on top of a wedding bridal garter. That’s the way they do these days. I was not aware of this, but I am learning quickly. I laughed a little and said how about if you wear a prom garter too. We both laughed and finished shopping for the day. We still have our sense of humor which is always a good thing to keep close by when you’re under this type of stress.

Wedding favors with all the golds and browns of the fall season were what they lined their reception tables with. I ordered some very nice glass photo coasters and when I received my package, it turned out to be the wrong ones. So I would have to send them back and wait for them to send the right photo coaster set, which would take too long. Luckily my friend knew where I could find a variety of photo coasters, so I tried them. They had a much prettier glass photo coaster set than the other company had and they promised to put a rush on the delivery. They had my coasters here in plenty of time for my wedding and all of my guests received their wedding favors that I wanted them to have.

My younger sister wouldn’t stop arguing with me over tags or favor boxes. I thought about going with a simple favor tag, but she insists that favors boxes are better. I didn’t really think it would make that much difference until I checked out the party favor boxes that were available. I hate to admit it, especially to someone younger than me, but she was right, the wedding favor boxes do look better. So, I’ve changed my mind, boxes it is.

I am convinced that a wedding bell theme is the way to go and neither of us will regret it. We want to coordinate the decorations (we already have them) with the favors, so we’re going to buy wedding bell favors. Isn’t that going to be cute? I saw the cutest wedding bell favor on the cover of a magazine. It will match our decorations exactly. Now we need to find out how much it’s going hit our budget. We were pleasantly surprised to learn the name of the store is cheap wedding bell favors, but that only pertains to the price, not the quality of the merchandise. This is really a blessing financially, and, Lord knows, we need it. We were blessed by the fact that the price is low and we move past decorations and wedding favors and onto wedding cake…yum yum!

I got my destination wedding invitations yesterday and I’m going to Daytona Beach for my best friends destination wedding. I’ve been to a couple of destination weddings before and they are the best. It’s a lot like a traditional wedding with decorations, wedding favors and the bride in her beautiful dress. She chose something from the wedding favors for destination weddings that she said we will all love. I can’t wait to see what it is. I can’t wait to get to Daytona.
